What do you like?
Just like Facebook, Twitter allows you to ‘like’ things. It could be a funny post, something that makes you think, or a picture or video you enjoy. The cool thing about Twitter is, you can go back and look at your ‘likes’ whenever you like (you may be able to do that with Facebook, but I sure don’t know how!) You can also go and look at other peoples ‘likes.’ This got me thinking the other day.
You can tell a lot about someone by looking at their likes.
More importantly, you can tell a lot about yourself by looking at your likes.
Curious about mine?
My last few include a picture of the Reds equipment truck heading to Spring Training, a hole-in-one by a local MLB Pitcher’s wife on their honeymoon, and a bunch of positive interactions with my friends.
It reminds me of something that Jesus said. Maybe He would tweet it with a funny meme if He was around today. But I think the sentiment is the same now as it was then.
“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:35)
We are known by what we like and people will recognize who we follow by how we love. Love encompasses a lot of things. 1 Corinthians 13 gives us a good starting list. My question for you, and for me, is simple. What do you like? Does it match-up with who you follow?

5 things we get by serving others
