It’s auction season for both TV-44 and District 8 FCA! It’s fun to interact with lots of different people that drop their goods off at the station. We also get to go into local businesses and ask for their support. Something I have found in my travels: you have to talk with the right person in order to secure a donation. If I get a chance to share my vision for the ministries with a manager, the chances increase that I will walk away with a gift card or item.
God is the “Right Person”
Aren’t you glad that we have unlimited, 24/7 access, to the biggest Decision-Maker ever? God the Father listens to our prayers, and the Holy Spirit dwells in the lives of those who follow Jesus.
John 10:30 says “The Father and I are one.” So, if we want to know what God the Father is like, and how He wants to interact with us, we look at His Son, Jesus.
Here’s what Jesus said about such matters.
When your heart needs answers, ask the one who made it. When you don’t know what to pray, ask the Holy Spirit to intercede for you. Our great big God, is one simple prayer away. You don’t have to guess if your request will be heard.
