Converge CommUNITY Service

Two years ago, following the Converge Youth Conference, area local pastors gathered to focus on the idea of unity as a Body of Christ in the Lima area.

The Allen County Ministry Network formed. This group is open to all in area ministry, a network of individuals supporting efforts to grow the Kingdom of God.

Out of that group came a desire for a community wide worship service.

April 7, 2019, that event happened. Hundreds of individuals from area local churches gathered together to worship the Lord through worship and teaching. Local pastors joined together before the crowd, sharing encouragement and a time of corporate prayer.

The event featured Converge speaker, “Daniel.” Daniel is a former Muslim who now lives his life in danger. He was granted clearance to come to the US just days before the Converge conference.

Organizer Buck Sutton, pastor of Living Hope Church, said, “The Lord has been brewing for a long time that he wants to bring the body of Christ together. We’ve been praying for revival and unity and God is bringing the people together.

We had a huge turnout at this service. It was more than expected. It’s not that we questioned if God could do it, but the turnout was more than we anticipated. There’s a movement happening in Lima. That will happen through unity and repentance and Love for Christ. It’s beginning!”
