25 Area High School Choirs Sing at TV-44 & Give Back

25 area high school choirs took part in TV-44’s annual Holiday Music Festival studio production this month. Portions of choral selections will appear on TV-44 throughout the month of December and in full, December 24 and 25 (full schedule listed below.)

Giving Back

In addition to singing Christmas songs in the TV-44 studio, the students also gave back to the community. Choir members collectively donated $484.60 in cash for The Lima Rescue Mission a non profit organization helping poor and homeless men since 1906.  Additionally, The Church at Allentown Food Pantry will receive 4 boxes of food donations.

25 Schools

Schools participating in the 2018 Holiday Music Festival are: Allen East, Arcadia, Arlington, Bath, Bluffton, Botkins, Columbus Grove,  Delphos Jefferson, Delphos St. John, Elida, Kalida, Liberty Benton, Leipsic, Lincolnview, New Bremen, New Knoxville, Ottawa-Glandorf, Pandora, Perry, Shawnee, Spencerville, Temple Christian, Wapakoneta, Waynesfield, and Van Wert.

Air Schedule

The 2018 Holiday Music Festival features high school choirs singing well known Christmas music.  Air dates and times: December 24: 4pm, and  December 25, 7am and 12 noon. Selections can also be viewed at right here at wtlw.com.

WTLW TV-44 is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, governed by a 10-member board of directors. The viewer-supported station reaches 220,000 homes through WTLW.  WOSN features 24-hour coverage of local high school sports. TV-44 desires to partner with area high schools as a positive opportunity to support local youth and the arts.
