I would not want to be an Athletic Director in the Spring, in the state of Ohio. These school administrators become meteorologists for 6-8 weeks every year, trying to read the radar and project if storms and bad weather is headed their way.
Nothing is Predictable
They have to make these judgements hours ahead of the game or event, because their decision affects a lot of people. Some teams travel a considerable distance, not to mention the officials, and opposing fans. Many times AD’s get it right.
But sometimes, they are no different than professional meteorologists who have all the technology known to man, making a prediction and missing the mark.
The Future
Ecclesiastes 8:7 states our plight plainly: “Since no one knows the future, who can tell someone else what is to come?”
Why do we keep trying to predict the future?
Especially when we know someone, who already knows the future. Look at what God promises.
Do you believe that? Then trust Him with your future. He will be faithful to show you when it’s just the right time.
