Transport for Christ 2018 Banquet and Concert

If you have a heart for sharing Jesus and listening to the stories of men and women from all walks of life, you may want to consider becoming a Chaplain of Transport for Christ in Beaverdam, Ohio!

What is Transport for Christ?

It’s an international mobile ministry whose mission is dedicated to reaching, supporting and encouraging truck drivers toward Jesus Christ. Their ministry has also helped eliminate human-trafficking and prostitution, specifically in the Beaverdam locations.

Meet David Lugibihl

David Lugibihl, who is one of the local Chaplains, hosts an annual banquet and concert to raise awareness and support that will continue pouring into the Transport for Christ mobile ministry. This year’s banquet and concert was held this past Friday at Bluffton University and it was well-received by many in the surrounding areas. Full of information, food, and southern gospel entertainment by Three Bridges, it’s easy to see how effective this ministry is to the local community. David has a servant’s heart and shares just how easy it is to get involved and become a chaplain!

For more information on the ministry of Transport for Christ, visit transportforchrist.com. If you are interested in becoming a chaplain or would like to attend next year’s event and concert, please call David Lugibihl at 419-230-3294 or email Nancy Spallinger at spallgmaa@gmail.com.

Transport for Christ Beverdam has two locations: Flying J Travel Plaza & Pilot Travel Center. Both are located at I-75 & 30N, Exit 135 – Beaverdam

  1. What a good presentation for our TFC Second Chance Chapels in Beaverdam. We are thankful for WTLW and the community for supporting our ministry. We really had a wonderful time of praising Jesus at our banquet and concert this year. I am blessed to be the secretary for the two TFC Chapels..You are all welcome to visit to see the chapels as well as sign up for the newsletter I put out every month or so. It will tell you what to pray for, it will tell of some of the Chaplains encounters with the truckers as well as other travellers including the homeless who often come for help. Please call at:419-296-0360 if you would like to sign up for our newsletter either by email or regular mail. We would treasure your prayers for this ministry to our truckers.
