On Wednesday, January 7th, 2018 volunteers at Lima Baptist Temple threw a surprise birthday party for one of their own, Mozelle Saylor! Because it was her 101st birthday, they chose an appropriate theme: 101 Dalmatians!
Meet Mozelle
Mozelle (affectionately nicknamed “Granny”) has been an Awana volunteer for several years. Her granddaughter first began volunteering for Awana, and wherever she went, Granny went. Awana stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed. Granny is one of their table helpers, spending time with the kids during their craft time. She enjoys her work, having always worked with kids from kindergarten on up. She had younger siblings and family who she helped to take care of as well, so it was just natural that she would work in children’s ministry.
Jesus means everything to her. She wants to encourage the younger generations to keep Him a central part of their lives. Go to church and learn about God!
From all of us here at TV 44, we want to wish Mozelle a very happy birthday!
