Be Transformed

I loved Transformers as a kid. It’s fun to see my 7-year-old son Nathan take to them as well and this weekend he received six new Transformers as part of an early Christmas present. As he was was playing with them, he wrote a ‘Points of Life’ for me. I’ll let him explain.

Transformed

Nathan is right isn’t he? God transforms us by the renewing power of the Holy Spirit. But the evil one and his minions are trying hard to tell us that we are defeated and there is no hope for us when we have tough days or tough seasons in life.

Paul talks about transforming in Ephesians 4:21-24.
“Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him, 22 throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. 23 Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. 24 Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.”

Don’t be a Christian in disguise. Transform into who God has created you to be!
